This site is dedicated to helping Mormons
understand Biblical truth
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (known as the LDS)
was founded by their prophet, Joseph Smith in 1830. Although they do
use the Bible, they believe it to be full of errors and omissions.
They are nicknamed Mormons because of their belief in the Book of
Mormon, which they maintain is the most accurate book on earth.
Their other scriptures are Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of
Great Price.
For the first twelve years they worshipped the trinitarian deity.
Then Joseph Smith introduced a man-centered doctrine known as
eternal progression. This involved a change over to the worship of
an exclusively Mormon God, a glorified man with a body of flesh and
bone, who had once also needed salvation from sin.
Mormons are taught that personal salvation is only possible through
the LDS church and that they too can become Gods. Because their
system of indoctrination is both thorough and effective, it is
extremely difficult to overcome.
Through reading the articles available on this site
Mormons can be enabled to untangle
the web of deception that has enmeshed them,
one strand at a time.
