A LETTER TO MORMONS,
FROM THE EDITOR
Dear Friend,
Welcome to Mormonism and Biblical Truth!
Although we have never met I know that you are a sincere person.
And I understand why you believe the things that you do. Moreover, I
have an affinity with you because I once stood in your shoes.
There are many things that I love in Mormonism — the
togetherness that Mormons enjoy, the priority they give to love in
the home and their moral lifestyle. And if it wasn't for the fact
that their doctrines are so radically wrong, I would love Mormonism
too.
Perhaps you can understand now that I don't get any joy out of
pointing out their doctrinal errors, contradictions and so on.
As an ex-Mormon and a committed Christian, I have sat on both sides
of the fence. So I understand the depth of sincerity involved
as well as the eternal consequences arising out of a commitment to
Mormonism. This has given rise to an ongoing, deep sadness and grave
concern over the spiritual plight of Mormons. So much so that this
ministry has become a compulsion.
As you can see, this web site was not set up out of vindictiveness,
but solely out of genuine love for, and concern over the eternal
welfare of Mormons. (Some of the folk I love best in the world are
Mormons.)
